I sent out an email not too long ago for people to pray for Shayna's sister, Ramey. Mere months ago Ramey was diagnosed with a brain tumor. And just two days ago she passed on from this earthly life to the next with her Heavenly Father. Though I didn't know Ramey well, I know that she was a beautiful young woman who lived a life giving praise and glory to Jesus Christ. For most of my life I knew Ramey only as Shayna's big sister and friend to my best friend Karla's sisters. But as these days have gone on and I've read this blog and watched this video I have come to see her as so much more. Her life has touched so many and I can not even fathom how her family is feeling right now. I praise Jesus for the time that Ramey spent on this earth and for the lives that she touched along the way. I know, without a doubt, that God will use this situation to further His kingdom.
This is a picture of Ramey (left) and her sister Shayna (right).
Thank you all who have prayed for her and her family. Keep praying. If you would like to send flowers or a note to her family, the address is on the blog link above. Please also take the time to read this beautiful article about her battle.
As I wrote in the entry before, I have truly been blessed. Thank you Lord for allowing me to wake up again today and be a wife, mother, daughter and friend. May each day I spend on this Earth be one lived in your will.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I just felt compelled to write about her too. i hope everyone will. My dad passed away 4 years ago of a brain tumor which is another reason her story is so close to my heart. Your family is lovely and your little Caroline is adorable. Lucy is only 2 mos older than her. Such a fun time!!
May the Lord bless you and yours thru this time. I'm sure Shayna will be blessed and thankful for your friendship even now. Thanks for posting about Ramey.
Oh Erin - I will definitely be praying! I just watched the video of Ramey - and it made me weep - her love for God was palpable and so beautiful! I will be praying for you too, sweet Erin! Love, Mary
